Dear Editor
When our beloved leaders explain that it's up to parents to protect children from inappropriate sexual images I wonder if they've got a solution fit for those giant smack-you-in-the-face billboards asking "Want longer lasting SEX?". Do senators expect parents to blindfold their kids in public? Do we really want this to be the biggest ad our international travellers see as they exit the airport? I think the NZ solution* of pulling them down is a great one.
They took out the word 'beloved' - ok so it's a bit hackneyed....

No argument from me. We pass one of them regularly and it always causes a great deal of laughter in the back seat, not to mention the odd awkward question. Not that I mind answering questions, but the 5-year-old doesn't necessarily need to hear everything that the 9-year-old does.
